I doubt it. When he loses an aspect that he absorbed, he doesn't seem to suffer from too many long lasting effects, though more than once, he gets disoriented after absorbing liquids. There was an issue when he nearly defeated Thor, a person tried to protect him, so the Absorbing Man tried to absorb anything unnatural that this person might have, which wound up being cancer. The cancer patient was cured, or at least went into remission. The Absorbing Man was horrified and fled, though he later recovered fully. I hope this helps.
