Personally nothing, however my mom is a 4th grade teacher in a small town. 2 friends of hers have sons in Iraq, and her class last year was penpals with both of them, sending them letters of support and whatnot. When one of them was back on leave he came in and met with the class and volunteered to help out with some activities.

As a veteran of the Vietnam war,I can really relate to this question.Personally I pray for our troops and leaders every night.I also support the USO,which is a great organization that really impacts our troops. The USO is right there with refreshments, phone cards, and an oasis where our guys and gals can unwind a bit.I try to remind friends and family to remember that we are sitting here secure and comfortable because our troops are there fighting to keep us free.Freedom is never free.God Bless our Troops!

We lost extra in Vietnam in a pair months as we've lost in Iraq interior the final 5 years. in actuality, immediately an American is statistically extra in all likelihood to be killed in Cleveland or Washington, D.C. than Iraq. Is it relaxing? can we could be there? No, yet isn't it approximately time surely addressed the possibility that Islamic radicalism poses on the worldwide than to easily freshen up the mess afterwards? The extra communism unfold, the better it grew to become because it devoured up materials and compelled the oppressed to serve of their aggression. back, seem at Europe. people of a as quickly as unfastened East Germany would have been compelled to take in hands against West Germany if their Soviet leaders demanded it of them. the only element struggling with that became, back, u . s . a . of america. what's and the place is communism immediately? It incredibly plenty purely exists in China or maybe it is relatively fizzling out. Why? because of the fact of u . s . a . of america. After our efforts in Vietnam, the North Vietnamese had run their direction. They weren't bodily or psychologically arranged or able to spreading communism any farther than their own borders. We lost South Vietnam, yet we saved south east Asia. wish that facilitates.

I agree they need our support.

I am friends with many troops and I pray for them...though it may not seem like much, if you have faith, it accomplishes a lot.
