For the time being I own half of a car, but alas I am about to loose my half in a divorce. What can I do to permanently disable this car. I don’t want to blow it up, I just want to make it worthless. I thought about sugar water in the gas tank, and I thought about bleach in the motor oil. Hell I’ve even thought about hiring a cement truck to fill it full of cement just to make a statement (although I think I want to be a little more discreet). What would be the best way to accomplish this?

drain the oil, start it, let it sit for about 20 minutes. Dont sit inside the car while it sits though, bad idea. Then, drain the transmission fluid and let it run for 5 minutes. Any longer and you might start a fire, most likely not but I dont want to get sued. Then, advance/decrease the ignition timing. Every piston will bottom out. Also, you can put just about anything besides gasoline into the gas tank and it will f**k it up.Let it run for alittle bit,With all this, you can say that you took it to Jiffy Lube, and THEY f**ked it up.

How To Destroy A Car

Give her the key and jump start it with 220V...just kidding!
The best way to disable a vehicle is to mess with the electrical, as it is sometimes impossible to find the faulty circuit. Only you would know how to fix it.
You can also unhook the fuel line from the fuel rail and put 3/8"(or 1/4 depends what vehicle) ball before you hook the line back. But again, why don't you trade the material for a good friendship, especially if you have kids with her...She was your lover once after all!
Good luck!

First of all I dont think you are being very discreet by asking this type of ? on the computer, just thought I would give you a lil hint about that , the best thing to do if you know for a fact that you are going to loose it in divorce is to just let it go , there will be other cars to buy . a car is not worth a jail sentence it could be more of a problem than it is worth , and besides if you will notice usually when a person does something like this , it usually comes back on them twice as bad ........ so just think about it

What is the best way to destroy a car?

Give it to a 16 year old offspring. It will be wiped out in a couple of weeks!

I was always told the best way to ruin a car is to forget about oil. But i dont think thats what you are going for.

If you do anything to mess up the car on purpose, be prepared to pay for it.

How should i say this you must and i say this again you must really hate/despise your soon to be ex. I would say the ole potatoe trick. Stuff it in the exhaust pipe. Find a dead animal that died and it looks like it was not been dead that long. Get it and put it in the car with the windows rolled up for several days or maybe say fish.

Get a new oil filter $3..fill it with metal shavings like from a brake lathe; swap i for the one on the car. The metal will take out the bearings among other things eventually....no evidence you were even there.
OR you could have her buy your half out so you get something from it or buy her half out if the car means that much.......

This is a pretty easy task to accomplish. Remove one of the spark plugs from a cylinder and wire it up inside the gas tank, then get inside the car and start it up. Then you won't have to worry about losing the car or being financially ruined for life by this divorce. Good luck.

sand and dirt should never make its way into the engine.. That's why you have air and oil filters, so dirt and sand don't get into the bottom end of engine and eat up the bearings, clog oil pump, wear the rods and, crank..Also so sand and dirt aint sucked into the engine where air filter is.. If it goes alot in there it will eat up the engines and cyl walls causing it to smoke bad, loss of power and compression, etc
