A written prescription? In most states, they're good for a year, unless it's a controlled substance (which birth control is not), then it's six months.

They do expire but I believe it may depend on where you get it filled, or depends on the office it was issued by. You can take it to the pharmacy and they will be able to tell you if you need a new one.

You can still get that filled. That is not that unusual because lots of times the doctors office will give a couple of months worth of samples.

They usually expire within 30 - 60 days(a lot depends on the laws in your state) from the time it is written. Call your DR and tell him you need it refilled

They are good for like 60 or 90 days, I don't remember. Try it at the pharmacy and see if they take it. It's a nationally mandated law, so they'll be able to tell you whether or not they can take it.

Some docs put an experation date on there if not then prolly not. Go ahead and take it into the pharmacy and see what they say.

You should get a new one. I think scripts expire after a week but I doubt more than a month. Call the pharmacy and ask.

As a general rule, unless written otherwise on the rx, it will not be filled after 1 year.

Your prescription should be still be OK to collect, but the pharmacist will tell you if it is now invalid and to get a replacement from your doctor..

Turned in? I've never heard of turning in prescriptions. Once you get them, you keep them. In any case, BCPs don't expire or at least a year.
