I have a lot of issues with this question...

1. Drinking a lot of water is not going to stop your period. They're not even related. However, drinking too much water can kill you. Just ask this lady: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16614865/

2. You can't go camping in a canoe.

3. Use a tampon. I don't see what the problem is? Why can't you go in a canoe with your period? That's like saying you can't cook a turkey if you have a hangnail.

No, water will not change a thing.
Your period is the lining in your uterus being discarded. The lining built up over several weeks to provide a place for the fertilized egg to attach if you are pregnant. If you don't become pregnant your body gets rid of the lining every month. Drinking water has nothing to do with your menstrual flow.

There is no way of speeding up your period. There are birth control pills that make you have fewer periods, like seasonale, but there is nothing you can do right now.
Sorry, it must be very frustrating.

That won't do anything except make you pee alot. There is nothing you can do to stop a period once it has already started. just take lots of pads/tampons with you. Don't let your period control your life!

Water makes absolutely NO difference to your period.
Water rund in a different tract, through your kidneys and bladder, out your eurethera.
You period exits through your vagina.
Close in proximity, but not the same.

So, wear a tampon + a pad to make it through long times.
I guess you'll need to take extras in Zip-Lock bags to change to in the woods. You might want to include wet-wipes.

Yes, it's inconvenient.
But that's life in the woods.

I really doubt that drinking a lot of water will stop your period. I think you are out of luck there.

haha water will not stop your period..just use a jumbo tampon, but the birth control pill will make your periods lighter so you would only go through on tampon a day :-) try that, dont kill yourself with water lol.

Nothing can stop your period once it starts. Just use tampons and let nature run its course.
