I have been thinking about this recently and haven't really come up with a solid opinion on the matter.

Anyone have any ideas they would like to share with me?
Thanks

This is an interesting question.
Does thinking of something make it exist? Perhaps. If observing an object changes the object then I think that thinking of an object makes it exist. Thinking of a poem makes it exist in the writers head. Something does not have to exist as matter to exist.

Form cannot be conceived of without a cause,
Yet, without form, the agent of cause is absent.

Nagarjuna

In other words, quit trying to think that your ideas have some form of absolute meaning. "Create" and "exist" are things we do around the house.

Define created. Do you mean created by Odin, the only true god? Or do you mean created in a natural process? There are many processes in the universe that create something. The sun is creating helium as we speak. It is creating all sorts of elements from lesser elements.

Actually, lets look at it this way.
You have an idea you have created in your mind.
Does it exist since it's not physical?
Yes, only to you does it exist.
But to allow others to see this creation, you must make it exist in physical form.
Does that about get it?
