The basic answer to your question is "YES" I am afraid of failure. I am afraid of failure in the context of consequences; both, seen and unforeseen. Specific consequences can impact the obvious monetary association with "failure". I am certain for example that most of us read the story line on Enron, the downfall, and the demise of Mr. Ken Lay. Likely a very giving man in terms of philanthropy; however, with the exception of those that directly benefited from his philanthropic work - most of us will associate the name with "failure". This is also an extreme example I know - but the point is clear.

It is because of this that I possess the drive that I have and the purposes to which everything that leaves my desk or items that are presented by me or others based on MY WORK - MUST be perfect. Reputation also aligns with the "quality" of my work; however, "failure" and the lack in desire to ever see it rear its ugly head (if you will) are the drive.

I simply have a passion for what I do, am very good at it, and am worth more than what I am being paid (without being conceited this is just "true" based on things I hear objectively from colleagues).

Hope this answers your question - or at least compliments in part what you receive from others.

For this question you get a "star".

Best to you and your SUCCESS.

yes only in the context of not being able to accomplish anything again that can be considered as success... as it all shuts down.. everything fails.. If one part fails .... the whole system fails.. simple as that.. although I don't consider failures much.. they're just a bridge to success... well.. hopefully..

yes
i'm afraid to fail in achieving my goals and aims to finish my studies just the way i want..
and also afraid to fail in having a good living and a nice social life plus being the person i wanna be and making everyone proud ....
maybe there is more i'm afraid to fail in
but i'm still so young and all i know is that if we fail it would be just a new begining to success and it would be a test for our patience
i mean failure would hurt so bad ...but it would be just destiney
that's why i try my best not to fail in anything so that in case i do (god forbid) i would be sure it's destiney cause i tried my best
..........................'
anyways good luck
and i hope you never fail in anything
=D
and 1 THING
i loved your question

Yes always. In my classes mostly... because they're the only place I actually succeed. LOL. I'm a failure in everything else i.e.: love life.

i am afraid of failing in something and really hurting somebody.
but i dont let my fear of striking out keep me from playing the game. my best advice is keep trying and give it all you got, and if it doesnt work out it wasnt meant to be atleast you tried.
