What can be done to reverse the decline of farmland that's going on in this world?

get people to farm more, buy more land, dont cut trees, get tractors and all, get someone to look after them.,. get it sanctioned by the government

Hey thats a tough question .. I guess people need ta stop having so many kids .. I know that sounds terrible to say but if you have less people in big cities and burbs they wouldn't be so over crowded which means people would stop wanting to move out farther in the country. people buy land father out for that house in the country ... but so does everyone else .. pretty soon you have the same problem out there and plus they've ruined it alot of times for the folks that have lived there maybe all their lives by bringin' their big city habits with them. but really at the same time y'all can't blame some people for wanting to sell their land at a big inflated price though ... if you had land somebody was willin' to buy at 2 or 3 times the value .. don't say y'all wouldn't sell it ta some developer and run to the bank .. I'd prolly be tempted myself. I know what you are sayin' tho .. it's sad to see when houses are bein' built where there used ta be crops planted or a beautiful meadow or somethin'.

I don't think there is a way in Indiana there is almost no farmland where as 3 years ago thats all there was

We should cutt back on housing developments and expanding cities. Make certain laws to protect our vanishing land.
