Tessa is more unique...but I love the name abby. There's just something so cute about it.

Abigail is cute but I like Tessa better just b/c Abby is to old fashioned.

We have friends who have twin girls named Tessa and Abigail (Abby). I don't know if I really have any preference between the two.
However, something different to throw into the mix..... I made up our daughter's name from Tessa. I was into K names for girls and so her name is Kessa. Well, it's hyphenated with a second name, but she usually goes by Kessa.
People really like her name, so it's another idea.

Tessa is alright but I prefer Abigail with the nickname Abby. I don't know why, but I just think it sounds prettier.

Mmm, Definately Tessa, Abigail is just so overused!
Plus, The nicknames for Tessa are much cuter.

The only Abby I know is probably about 50, but I think it's a cute name. I know 2 teenage girls named Tessa and they are both bright and likable. I like both names, but I like Tessa better.

i like tessa because it is less common, i have only heard of one person with that name and it is my friend named tess whos parents are australian. i also like abigail with the nickname abby. why not do tessa abigail or abigail tessa? use both!

Tessa is a very unique name....but i like the sound of Abigail better. You can also spell it the Irish way, which is Abigael. Abby/Abbie/Abi is a very cute nickname.

Tessa reminds me of a hippo, or maybe fat, large, something like that... Abigail is a beautiful name and Abby is very cute. a name that I could imagine on a woman of all ages
