Depends on the type of tire. Most tires come with a warranty. You can expect about 30-40K on the lower end tires and about 50-75K on the higher end.

Keep the properly rated tires for the car, but go with a harder compound rubber. Go to a tire shop, not a big chain or super store like Wal Mart and steer clear of the dealer. If there tires are wearing evenly and this has nothing to do with an alignment issue or sticking brakes and she doesn't drive like a maniac, it's just the compound is too soft for your roads. Something a little harder won't perceptibly affect performance and will give you a lot of life compared to 35K miles. Bridgestone Turenzas, Dunlop and Michelin X tried are known to be very quiet. Pirelli 4X tires might still be too soft, then there are Kuhmo and HK tires that will be a little stiffer but will double your current mileage. Good luck.

Just because a set of tires say for example 40,000 does not necessary mean you will get that. It depends on a alot of factors. Such as do you keep the correct tire pressure in them and check the tire pressure at least once a month, do you have the aliment check on a regular base-is, do you have your tires rotated and balanced when needed. This are the main things that will determine how many miles you will get.

Depends on the quality of the tires. Some will get you 10,000 and the higher end will get you closer to 60 or 70,000 miles of good wear.

Depends on the quality make of tire, good tight suspension, air pressure correct, alignment is correct and driving habits. These all add up to how long your tires will last. I have hit over 85000 on the same set of tires.

Depends on the tire you can get anywhere from 20,000-50,000 miles it also depends on your driving habits and if you rotate the tires like is recommended

i get 40k out of a set of michelins on a Peugeot 405 but if you drag race off the mark at every junction and stamp on the brakes last minute is going to take it's toll on tyres
