Well...I am a shopper and I believe in spending what you can afford and splurging once in a while. In the past, I have spent upwards of $250.00 on a warm, fashionable winter coat. It was well worth the investment as it is high quality and timeless. I've paid $280 for Dolce & Gabbana jeans and I've had them for 4 years. They have kept their rinse and structure. I receive compliments when I wear them and I feel like a million dollars. Boots I own, I have spent $200 plus for them and get the best wear out of them. I have had them resoled a couple of times and polished, so I try to keep them looking like new. Quailty brands truly make a difference.

Lol,when it comes to clothes, I don't really care how much I spend as long as i like it. On a coat I guess I could spend about $350 if I liked it. But in the winter I usually like to have several coats/jackets I can use. If it was a designer coat and I absolutely loved it I would spend as much as I had to!!
I love jeans so I could spend up to $400-500, but then again I live in an expensive country. I'm still talking about US dollars though.
Same goes for purses. Last purse I bought was a $200 handbag from juicy couture. But I'm actually thinking about saving up for a Marc Jacob purse that costs about $1,400.
Underwear, I buy it from Victorias secret or H&M, it's cheap and cute and I love it.
Sneaker? $200,that's it I like converse though and vans,comfortable and cute, only $40.
A tank top I get for $8, but I wouldn't spend more that $30:)

Burlington Coat Factory is porbably number one they have really cute and hot styles of winter coats and the price is really low I bought three I think and they were I think only $100 and they were brands they have a huge sale going on like right now and every fall or winter they do that so m i shop there for my coats every year

As far as the coat, I would spend up to $100.00 - $200.00 on a good wool one. I have one that I bought seriously almost 20 years ago and it's in gorgeous condition and I get compliments on it because it's not dated. Make sure you base any fashion investment on the longevity of an item. IE, the longer you think you'll have the item, spend more on it.
