What graphics card is better.

ATi X1650pro OR nvidia 7600GT?

And to add to that, where does the ATi HD2600pro fit into them cards, worse, better, middle?

Thanks,

Im open to opinions of any other cards which are around that value, but dont suggest stupidly priced cards, as i dont play many games.

I have a PCI-E socket.

And dont tell me that nvidia are better than ATi, i just want to know what the individual cards are like, and how they perform.. better or worse.

thanks again
- Pete

The order would be from best to worst, 7600GT, HD2600Pro, and then X1650Pro. You can refer to the charts I list, keep in mind the charts don't list the 2600Pro, but do list the 2600XT, the Pro will be slightly slower. If you can afford it, go with this card:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102061 you are getting tremoundous performance for the price on that card, else go with the 7600GT.

Two decent graphics cards. Personally I would go with Nvidia. Better support and drivers. They are also built well and can take the heat when your computer is running hot. Not to bring ATi down but if you aren't purchasing their extreme cards then you should definitely consider Nvidia. The ATi HD2600 pro without is a mid range card. Its average price is around 180 dollars and a good buy for someone who wants to game and connect an HDTV to their computer. Another thing; ATi specializes in TV tuning compared to Nvidia's superior gaming capabilities.

i would go with the 7600gt seeing as how it is a more recent video card then the x1650pro, as for the hd2600, that card is more for video editing then for gaming
