Hmmm...well it really depends on the game. If I'm not mistaken, it's really important to have 4.0 GHz at least for most all PC games now-a-days. But that's pretty expensive to upgrade, if you even can on your PC. I would recommend upgrading to 1 gigMB of memory from your 512MB. That should really help, and shouldn't be too expensive. I got a gig for 25 $ at my local best buy. Also, you could try updating your video card, getting a good video card should really help you out here. But that's gonna run a little higher than the memory. Well, hope this helps so you can have fun!

It will also depend on the the game you are play, the internet speed you have, the server speed the game has, the graphics card you have.. Its hard to say with the description you provided.. more then likely your computer should run most games fine.. i would suggest a RAM upgrade though. 1gig should do the trick.

It sounds ok. You probably have programs running in the background. Do a ctr alt del and check how many processes are going on and end any that you don't need. Also you may want to get a spyware scanner you can download a free one to check for spyware on your computer. This will make your computer lag too.

You probably have a small hard drive capacity. If you free up some space on your hard drive then the games will play a lot smoother. Go to Control Panel/Uninstall Programs, and get rid of anything you do not need.

You need to upgrade your Ram to at least 1 gb. You can do it for like $50.
