okay so i just got done treating both trichomonas and chlamydia..gross i know! i learned my lesson tho..anyways..i was just wonderin how long will it take for the symptoms to go away?? the only symptom i had of either one was bleeding and pain during sex..i didnt have any smelly or unusual discharge..im not sure which one my symptoms came from since the symptom i had could be either one..i havent had sex yet and im not goin to for 7 days like im supposed to..but will the pain be gone???

I think I would give up on the sex for awhile and when you do have sex if its with a man you had had sex with before make sure he has been treated as well or your just going to get it back again!

Treatment for Trichomoniasis:- Antibiotics - Metronidazole 500mg 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days. It is especially important that both partners are treated at the same time because an infected man, even a man who has never had symptoms or whose symptoms have stopped, can continue to infect a female partner until he has been treated. Anyone being treated for trichomoniasis should avoid sex until they and their sex partners have completed the treatment.

everything supposed to b gone if u had treatment. wait another 2 weeks or so. better safe dan sorry..

yes, by then everything should have healed up. stay away from the guy that gave it to you, and insist on a condom to protect yourself.
