The color shceme must stay the same It is supposed to be black space background and white stars in space. then the blue is just a nice spacy color.

You could advertise the site in banner ads, radio/TV commercials, or other forms of advertisement. I'd also recommend not trying to lure people to the site without a legitimate question on a Q&A site. If you have specific areas you would like to see improved, please mention them. Your posted question sounds like a desperate attempt to draw visitors, especially since you only have a single question and answer posted to Yahoo Answers.

I read something recently that indicated using a black background on websites was actually recommended now for energy savings. If I can find the link, I'll post it.

1. I would change the color scheme. Black text on white background is much easier on the eyes.
2. I would make a new home page which clearly makes out: what the site is for, main topics/threads, hot topics, etc.

remove all the anoying banners and change the background colors, put some topics like immigration and the war against Iraq..
