I don't. i shave my bikini line and trim the rest of it.

Waxing is better. If you decide on waxing trim your hair before so it won't hurt as much. You really don't need to do any of this unless your hangin out of your bathing suit or having sex. If it is long just give yourself a little trim. Maintainance is gotta be kept up with once you start shaving or waxing.

I was told by my physician not to do this, you should trim the area only, the hair is there as a protectant.
