place a heating pad on your stomach, drink hot tea, soak in a warm bath, try simple yoga, have an orgasm (the blood moves to less congested areas), some say eating bananas helps.
You should also try to distract yourself. Put on a movie and curl up on the couch.

You could take a warm bath. Use heating pads or ThermaCare HeatWraps for menstrual cramp relief. Drink something warm like tea. DO NOT take anything that has caffeine because the cramps could get worse. Hope this helps.

I had that probel, too. Take advil or midol a few days before your period comes - that prevents heavy cramps. A warm towel on your stomach helps, too.

I suffered the same problem for years. Then my doctor gave me a prescription for Celebrex and it works miracles for me.
