From what I've seen, it's about an even split.

The left tends to make up more facts as individuals, while the right tends to quote facts made up by someone else.

But in both sides, it's only a small subset that actually makes up facts -- most just spin and interpret actual facts to support their arguments.

I rarely see "facts" posted by any conservative. I see a lot of talking points and Bush rhetoric but few if any facts. When Democrats post they use facts exhaustively, which are just largely ignored by those on the right.
