i will get smashed and bashed for this but i read all the time women say its ok for men to do this and men say why not? me being from another country where couples dont tolerate those things and its very unusual for married men/women to watch porn or couples at strip clubs, cheating hardly takes place. here everything is so open and sex is nothing but an entertainment i dont seem to wonder why people stray and loose values and morals.

aaawww i see many surprising answers that agree with me. i thought i was the only one. not saying i am perfect, but i see that if there isnt a stop to it people might as well just have open relationships and stop using the word love. and women need to see that they are worth more than boobs and butts, that way men will not only look at us that way. its a given.

Why the hell do you think you are miss high and mighty and its OK for you to sit there at your computer and judge other people's relationships?? You have NO REASON to judge other peoples beliefs, i know people who don't like your 3rd world countries, where all the people who live there marry goats and have 7 wives. your such a tool. stop being such a closed minded person, worry about your own business, and stop trying to make people you don't even know feel bad for doing something you know nothing about. No body's shoving down it your throat, no ones asking you to watch or take part, so sitting on your computer, half way around the world and judging a culture you know nothing about, is pointless! you are ignorant. go play with your goats. Your opinion is fine, but keep it to yourselves! nobody cares what you think! and when your "marriage" falls apart because your husband is unhappy because you think you own him, and you think YOU alone know whats right for humanity, don't come crying to "yahoo answers" to fix your screw up. not all porn and strip clubs end up with infidelity, they actually help prevent it sometimes because your partner is there with you.

Well once again the good 'ol USA is under attack for her loose values and questionable morals. I would love to know what country that you speak of being from where this does not happen (yeah right). But if you think that the USA is so open and loose on these things, might I suggest that you visit The Netherlands, Germany, Japan, China, England or maybe France? I have seen as much in these places as ever here. You can litterally find these actions anywhere in the world and it stands to reason that if this is all that you look for, then this is all that you are going to see. Something about it must entertain you or you wouldn't see so much of it.

Honey, I don't know where you are from...but I can tell you...EVERY COUNTRY HAS THEIR LITTLE SEX INDUSTRIES. I'd be more worried about the ones who do it in the backs of buildings on the sly or underground. Those are the ones I'd be really worried about...their usually the underbelly of the market, selling children with no consequence or worry of laws against such, etc. Though I'm not saying that it isn't here as well. But at least the legal stuff keeps the casual perverts out of the the really bad sleaze, so that there isn't more of a need for it.
And I have to seriously laugh about the cheating hardly happens...its more than likely just more discreet.

I think this is a problem umong the individuals themselves. Lets look at the entire animal kingdom and pls tell me how any species mate for life? If the couple is open and honest with each other thats the moral question. Hidding and sneaking around would be the wrong way.

Basically, some people don't want to exercise self-control, so they just convince themselves that "I can do whatever I want-there's really no right or wrong", and anyone that tries to tell them that (gasp!) they should actually exercise some morality and self-control gets attacked. But, come on, everyone's born with a sense of right and wrong- they know what they're doing is wrong. However, they don't want to change their behavior, so they just say that certain rules don't apply to them. They're like children- remember being a child and there was that one friend that always wanted to change the rules in the middle of a game in order to put themselves ahead of everyone?

Most here have NOT mastered the ART of lovemaking and have no idea what that even is! The women only care about how big their boobs are and the men try to last longer than 30 seconds!

I agree with you. I think it's degrading for those people so sell their bodies like that. Everyone's made different and it's not to go around and let random people touch you, your body is a temple and you should keep it that way. And as for people who go to them, they need to get a life and not waste their money. It might temporarily fix their loneliness but then it'll come back. Instead they should search for the right person and they wont have to worry about all that nasty stuff.

I agree with you and a red blooded American female with a healthy sexual appetite. No porn, no strip-clubs, no swinging! What is wrong with people? Not ALL men do those things, but a lot do and they claim it is just "normal male behavior" so they get away with it ... and women are afraid to insist on better, so they join the club so that they will be more acceptable to men.
But me? I'm against it, and I wouldn't tolerate it.
I sometimes have urges to do bad things, but if I can control myself, I expect he will control HIMSELF. :)

It makes no difference where you're from hon, addictions to porn strip clubs are addictions. And addicts are not available for a meaningful relationship.... they are already IN a relationship, it just isn't with you and never will be with you or any other woman. So, if you are happy being number 2 or 3, stay. If the guy goes with his friends, guys do that occasionally... but just as many think it is just creepy. You decide if you wish to stay....
