my b/f might become a pro baseball player..im so happy for him...we have been toghter 3 years and are very happy...but i know what happens to couples when someone is famous it dosent last...he says he wouldnt want to be with anyone else becuase i was there with him through everything and im true..but i cant help but think why would he stay with the girl he met senior year if he can have the hottest girl around..i donno...can a couple who started out togther last when one person becomes famous...any success stories?

It's up to both of you to make this relationship work, and if you have been together for three years, then, I see no problem with that. I mean, God forbid he has a carrier ending injury, will you be there for him? I imagine you would. Do not be insecure regarding other people or fame, and keep your love alive. He needs you to keep him grounded and he trusts you since you were there from the get go.

Jay Leno has been with his wife for 20 something years. I was listening to a relationship counselor the other day about the same thing she said that the reason marriage fails when one spouse becomes famous is because they were "settling" to begin with. I am not saying that is going to happen in your relationship, but you should really talk to your spouse about your concerns. let him know you are extremely happy for him but you are scared about your relationship

You know your boyfriend for who he really is not the superstar that he is going to become. Fame is so temporary. It can be gone in an instant. The only people who really care about you are your family and friends. Just remind him of that if he starts getting a big head.

there is no reason that you guys cant stay together, if he makes pro and you break up chances will be because YOU start doubting your relationship. three years is a long time dont get yourself worked up over something that may or may not happen.

I don't have a success story, however, don't be the reason. You see we can believe something so strongly that we help to manifest it. If he says there will be no problem, then you have to trust him. If you don't trust him, then it's not the fame that will end your relationship...it's you.

You shouldn't cut yourself so low, but until he marries you, you can't be sure of anything. You shouldn't be having sex with him until you are married. He is totally disrespecting you.
