it will, cause your engine to run rough and smoke, if you just put a little in you'll be ok, if the tank was all mots empty and you put in 2or 3 gallons, i suggest you fil up with gas .go ahead and drive it out, however if you completly filled up with you will have to drain it out, or it wont run. diesel at worst, won't let your car run at it's best, however if it's just 2 or 3 gallons and you fill up, it will clean up your engine removing old deposits.

Depends on how much you put in it. If you only put a couple of gallons in it just fill it with gas and burn it out. It might smoke a little but it won't hurt anything. If you filled the tank with Diesel you will need to drain the tank and fill it with gas. If you tried to start it or let it run till it died you will need to clean or relpace the spark plugs and I would recommend a new fuel filter.

It may run (poorly) and you will end up having to remove the fuel from the tank and have the fuel system cleaned.
Diesel fuel is ignited by friction /compression, gasoline is ignited by spark.

You'd be rather amazing, as diesel is dispensed through a nozzle that cannot fit in a gasoline filler tube. That's what would happen.
There's always that whole ruining your engine thing...but actually fitting the nozzle in is more amazing to me.

If you managed it, your car would not go.
Diesel combusts in a different way, dependant on mix and pressure (no spark). It does not burn as petrol does. You would very likely damage your engine and have to go to a mechanic
