"The Democrats in Congress have not drafted..."

Boo hoo. What about the Republicans in Congress? What are THEY doing, besides picking lint out of their navels? The majority isn't THAT great. So why is the President playing party politics?

My problem is that he is demanding that they stay until a bill is drafted that does what HE wants...

Funny... I recall some panel attempting to subpena a few of Bush's friends and he seems to think the executive doesnt have to held accountable by any other branch.. (of course Bush knows much more than our founding fathers)...

If I were in congress i'd say, you honor our subpenas and we'll sign a bill.

Edit: to the motercycle guy above me...
technically he was elected by the electoral college... the popular vote wasnt his.

President Bush is fully aware of the makeup of Congress (which doesn't have a very high rating since Democrats became the majority by a very small margin). President Bush and the Republicans in Congress are serving the nation, and their own constituents, competently and faithfully, and doing what they said they woiuld do before they were elected by the majority of voters in each case.

Yes, as are most conservatives in Y!A who bring up the congressional approval ratings every 5 minutes as an attempt to insult Democrats. They never seem to realize that the Republicans in congress have a far lower rating than the Democrats, probably because just like Bush they don't realize the congress is made of people from both parties!

It's not that he's too stupid. Well, it's not JUST that. It's also that he's too stubborn to deal with people he doesn't like. Except, this time, he can't bomb the people he doesn't like. So he does what he did with Saddam Hussein before he was given carte blanche to bomb him: He tells lies about them.

It's not a matter of being stupid.

It's just a blatant partisan attack.

Is Nancy Pelosi stupider than Bush? Sure looks that way. She makes enemies in her own party. Don't look smart to me.
