when u guys in the shower at gyms and stuff - do you talk to each other. i go to the female's locker room and shower and my friend talk to me while we shower really quick. also do men talk in the bathroom, make small talk in there? just wondering....at the club stranger girls chat to me in the bathroom.

I don't talk while showering at the gym, but sometimes I'll hear other guys talking to each other. As for talking in the restroom, that's personal preference. I'll have guys talk to me as if we were just standing around (I guess we pretty much are). Other guys will be as quiet and unobtrusive as possible. For me, I prefer the latter, it makes me a bit uncomfortable to talk while actually using the restroom. At the sink or in line I don't mind.

my recollections of High School and College was that after athletics the showers were full of conversation. 20 years later I don't talk to anybody in the shower at the gym.
Bathroom? No, never. The urinals are like elevators. Stare straight ahead and don't talk.

We talk in the gym showers, because we want to. Today's society is spastically afraid of being called gay. I'm not gay. And I don't care if someone thinks showering in a gym is gay either. People have been doing it for centuries, and only in the last 20 years is it "gay".

Gals tend to be chummier that the guys. I never heard of anyone talking in the shower...That would tend to raise suspicions, if a guy had to notion to do so.

i will talk to my friend in the shower only if we are seperated by a curtain or wall, otherwise, i keep it to myself.
small talk at the urinal is ok, we keep it short though.
