I can't find one for some reason. The manufacturer specs say its "AC '97 Audio" but searches turn up no matches. Someone help me I can't hear anything.

Go to the computer manufacturers website and look for the driver updates. I think Realtek made that but you need to be sure. Driverguide.com is a good starting point also.

staggering click my laptop, click take care of, and then seem under "sound, video, and game controllers". see if there's a gadget that shows "no longer put in" (or something like that with a yellow triangle) that factors on your sound card. if so, attempt and see in case you could replace or roll back the driving force (living house windows could already have a driving force that works alongside with your card that isnt the manufacturers driving force) in case you dont see the gadget in any respect, then you certainly've have been given larger problems than a driving force.
