You can't be arrested, however, since you feel like there was a possibility, you must have done something very egregious. Money at any level, from not enough, to more than enough, is the reason most couples divorce. Is what you did with the money more important than your marriage. If you never get WHAT you want that money can buy...should'nt you already be satisfied with WHO you got.

Does the household money belong to you, to him, or to both of you? If it belongs to him or to you both jointly, and you had an agreed list to spend it on but spent it on something else, this is at least morally theft. Depending on the law in your state and whether it was his money, he could possibly press charges. If he does not press charges, you can not be arrested, as he is the only party that has been damaged as far as this question outlines. If you spent it on various things and did not pay your actual bills, you can have other consequences such as having utilities shut off, your credit rating drop, or bill collectors coming after you (who may threaten arrest).

If this question means he had $100 in his wallet that he planned on using to pay the bills and you took it and bought makeup, you're in a pretty bad spot if only for being untrustworthy in the relationship. If on the other hand, this question means you had $100 to spend and bought five extra packs of nicer toilet paper that cost 20 cents more than the cheap brand, everyone involved should work to get a sense of perspective that does not involve criminal charges, and if anyone tried to press charges they would surely be thrown out.

Barbara if you have spent the money on things that your partner would not approve of I suppose he could have you charged with theft or fraud. If possible it would be wise to inform your spouse of what transpired. If you blew the cash at the casino you might want to seek out some help for this addiction. If on drugs then again counselling may be an option. I know of a man who lost his business because his wife was messed up on crack and embellished all the money from his account and wrote false cheques that bounced. Hope that you learned a valuable lesson from this and that you and your partner can work it out and not be in too big of a financial difficulty because of your poor life choices.

Why would you do something like that? Why would you hide something from him? Did you use his credit card or his check and sign his name to it? If so, then you could be arrested for forgery. I suggest that if your husband is very upset about, take whatever you purchased back to the store and get the money back for it. If it can't be returned or it has already been consumed, then you need to come up with a plan to get that money back. Maybe you can sell something on ebay or pawn something that you and your husband do not use anymore. However, before you do any of this, discuss your plan with your husband. Or ask him for suggestions.

right here is the standard smash down, we herald a million t in fica and a million trillion in IRS and approximately 4 hundred billion different techniques. The GOP needs to incredibly plenty do away with the 4 hundred billion in different sources. approximately one hundred billion is from company tax which seems low of the 4 hundred billion. So of the a million.4 trillion in IRS and different taxes we spend a pair of million.5 trillion. 900 billion on the protection tension on my own. ANd approximately 3 hundred billion on wars no longer even counted there. Of the entitlement courses we herald a million trillion in fica and spend 2 trillion. the enormous undertaking is medicare as that brings in 2 hundred plus billion from fica and spends a pair of million trillion on my own. we can easily decrease spending interior the departments however the medicare isn't purely high priced, it gets further and further high priced each and each 12 months. for instance in 1998 medicare became 3 hundred billion and social protection became 4 hundred billion. So for sure we could lavatory at that. enable's say it a diverse way. If we don't decrease medicare and decrease the federal government to 0 spending. If we shop medicare and unemployment and social protection, SCHIP, etc, we are already spending 2.6 trillion and via 2014 it's going to be 3 trillion. If our spending from protection tension is going to 0 and all those different wasteful federal courses, like education, ailment administration, highways, congress, the white residing house, and approximately 10 million federal jobs. Then we can nevertheless have a extensive deficit of a million trillion. it is not sufficient to purely seem at federal spending on the protection tension and wars and stuff. we could administration medicare.

Nope, you can't be arrested for spending $$$ wastefully. Since you are married, what is his is yours and what is yours is his...Unless of course, you purchased something illegal! I can't say it going to help your marriage very much though!

Only if you spent it on somethong illegal. But shame on you for wasting money. Money causes so much distress in marriages. I'd be more worried about divorce than getting arrested
