I have a dog. no kids. i can work, i am very handy. good with kids. i am leaving my husband today and need somewhere to go. I am in lockport, ny and i have very little money for gas right now. Please help me leave.

You call a few of these and someone will know what how to get you there....money in your pocket should not be an issue.
I think you can keep your Dog at another shelter for a little while as you get back on your feet. The people you call will know what to do...There are professional people paid to cater to your situation....dont do it online with a stranger...

You probably need to calm down first. Go see your physician and tell him how you feel. He'll probably refer you to a therapist which you should see right away. You may be depressed and the worst thing to do is something drastic. You won't solve your problems by running away from them. Sooner or later they'll come back to haunt you.
Take control of your life but for now just stay put. Once you get a handle on what the real problems are you can take care of them one at a time. Good luck.

Do you have any family close by? Sounds like you are going to need them after taking this big step in your life. If not, call them, and explain your circumstances, then maybe they can help you till you can get on your feet and decide what you want to do. If not family, find a womens shelter nearby, and a job and save your money to start a better life for yourself. Good luck to you and stay safe!!!
