Bells Are Ringing is a hit musical from the late 1950s. I have directed it. It has some good songs that were popular hits back then. It does not need a lot of choreography the only dance number I remember is The Midas Touch..

The show is an oldy moldy and could still be a lot of fun.

I hope this helps, Yes, Bells Are Ringing opened November 29,1956 at the Shubert Theater and had 924 performance. The music was of Jule Styne, who's musical credit includes Gypsy (1959), Funny Girl (1964). The story is about a shy switchboard operator for Susananswerphone named Ella Peterson meddles her clients' lives, disguising her voice as different characters. She falls in love with one of her subscribers, Jeff Moss, a playwright with writer's block. Among others whose lives she anonymously fixes are songwriting dentist and Blake Barton, a Brandoesque actor. Simultaneously, the owner of Susananswerphone is being swindled by her boyfriend, who is secretly running a number racket out her establishment
