Excuse me but.........who the hell have you been talking to?
If you have to have group sex to SAVE your marriage it is not worth saving!
One night stands, threesomes, group sex and what ever else you said has no place in any marriage. I don't care how open minded the husband and wife are! It will only lead to heart ache.
The marriage bed is sacred and is only for the bride and groom..........not the bestman and maid of honor too.

In my experience it is the other way around, the general consensus seems to be "have lots of casual sex when you're single then forget your alive when you get married."
That said, any real swinger will tell you that swinging and having group sex will not save a failing marriage; it will only hasten it's demise. It's not uncommon, and always destructive when a couple opens-up their marriage to in response to boredom or problems in their life or sex life.
Couples that swing successfully are those that were happy and had a good marriage to begin, both had fantasies that required more than two people to fulfill, both are secure in themselves and in each other (meaning they are not jealous), and both have a clearly defined sense of love and sex - the idea that just because you want to have sex with someone doesn't mean you love them. Or that you have to be in love with someone to have sex with them.
Sex isn't just something two people do to say they love each other, although repressive Western religious thought would like you to believe so. Sex is a biological need, just like eating and sleeping, and you'll go crazy if you repress it for too long. And some do.

I wish I knew. I feel the same as you do about this subject. Sort of like having children before marriage. How can you commit to raising you child in the best possible environment and give him/her everything you possible can, but yet not be willing to make a commitment to the father/mother?

I'm not ok with any of that, and people that are have no morals and they are wh*rish.
Furthermore, it's terrible to have a threesome when you are married - that is the worst of all the offenses you mentioned!
You can't paint with a broad brush ... there are perverted people everywhere, and there are also good people.

I do believe people have thought to spice up their sex life when they are in that transition period between "in love" to "loving", but I don't think people ever say group sex is the answer.

Well, Osama, anyone who would have sodomy with a goat has no business lecturing others about the morality of sex.

I don't know anyone who says that. I think you need to consider the source.
