Use the dish soap and water approach and pay special attention to the valve and seams. Both are prone to leak and be difficult to find and to seal. The chair may have come with some vinyl patches and glue or you can pickup a vinyl repair kit at Walmart.

If that doesn't work then take it from Homer himself, "Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try."

If it doesn't have a puncture, it would not go down. Mix some dishsoap and water and spray or brush the whole thing (start at seams). You will see bubbles when you find the leak.

Are you sure it is not in a spot you just can't find? Inflate it completely and search around all the seams. No matter what I would contact the company. After all, it should have customer satisfaction.

It does. It may be small though. Get some water put some dish soap in it. and brush it on it. Slowly. If you see bubbles thats where your hole is.
