Nope! Not at all. I think it's a great series of books that a wide age range of readers can enjoy. Now I know I'm just asking for multiple thumbs-downs by giving a contradictory response, but maybe this'll help:
"He** no, I'm not god**mn sick of f***ing Harry Sh**head Potter! I just say that Rowling b**ch has fu**ed us over by ending the da**ed series!" That help?

Honestly! Can't people be fans of something great without getting their heads ripped off? I agree, camping to buy it is going a little too far, but it's not against the law to like it, it's a great book, and Harry doesn't die, by the way.

no, actually, I'm not. actually, I'm sad it's over. I know it sounds a little cliche to say it, but if you don't like it then you wouldn't understand. It's a good series made up of good books, which is rare in a world that revolves around images.

And what difference does it make if it's Harry Potter. People act worse over Star Trek, Star Wars, and don't even get started on World Of Warcraft. Hell, there are people that believe in UFO's and that think Black people are really monkey's, and your complaining about people liking books!

And if you want to know, I'm a 24 year old man, married, ex-Marine currently in college and working at a newspaper, with no children. I enjoy the books because they are good books.

Now I'm not saying that Harry Potter is the best piece of literature out there, but come on, what's so wrong with kids wanting to read!? Clearly from your choice of vocabulary, it's something that you have not chosen to do much in your life. I just don't see why it bugs people so much that kids (and adults) can get excited about reading!

I am so sick of people only talking about Harry Potter. For god sake! Go to mugglenet.com and talk about Harry Potter on the discussion board.
I am also so sick of everyone else complaining about all the Harry Potter related questions: They're good and very popular books so of course there will be many questions about them. And there's no need to make just as many questions complaining about Harry Potter as there are questions from fans.
Stop talking about Harry Potter to the fans and go to mugglenet.com to stop all of the same questions!
--OR--
Get over it for the non-fans and ignore the fans!

Note- I am a fan of Harry Potter I just don't see the need to post spoilers and ask the same questions over and over again when you could have an actual discussion on an actual Harry Potter discussion board.

It is not in my humble opinion great literature, but it has given great joy to thousands of kids( and some adults) so what the hell, let them have their innocence while they can.
And its made JKR loads of Dosh and the nice lady has given some of it to Charity. Cheers JKR

Mister Sunshine how do you know he dies? I think the spoilers you read were wrong!! Anyway, you can have your opinion, people who like the book can have theirs. But I think more feel opposite of you. Just calm down. This was the last book and it will die down soon, but it will never go away, so you might as well just get over it.

Hmmm now who is sadder, the people that read the books and enjoy them, or someone who doesn't read the book yet slates the title and author anyway

I wonder......

OMFG!!! If you don't like something then don't talk about it in a negative way because some people have a life they aren't dopes sitting around the couch watching t.v all day.
