How much can you afford? A lot of the areas that people are suggesting are very expensive (cherry Creek, LODO, country club, Washington Park, etc.) so maybe you should let your budget be your guide.

Living in Denver can be pricey, so price is something to consider. LODO is very fun, but tends to be expensive. The Downtown area is the best place to live b/c it's full of young professionals, for the most part. Certain areas in Capital Hill are great, but don't live too close to Colfax Avenue. That area becomes a little sketchy. Also, Uptown is new and very convenient. Also, West Wash Park, which is between Cherry Creek and downtown is reasonable and quiet. It's cab ride away from downtown. It is on the South side of Speer Blvd and borders The Denver Country Club.

Unless you are looking for suburban living, I would stick to the downtown area.

A new building opened in LoDo- called Glasshouse. We have a weekend condo there, and it's awesome, and you can probably find one to rent for a decent price. It's right there in LoDo, you can walk to almost everything, there's a huge park right out front, bike paths, train station, shopping, restaurants, everything is there! It also has a nice pool on the 8th floor that has a beautiful skyline view of Denver and is adjacent to a gym. Very safe too- they have 24 hour front desk service, and no one can access the floor that you live on without electronic keys. Lots of people in their 20's, 30's, and 40's live there- very hip.

I think the website is www.glasshousedenver.com but I'm not sure. You could probably Google it.

If you want to live IN Denver LODO (lower downtown, near 16th St & Coors Field) is great. If you want to live in a suburb...Cherry Creek, Highlands Ranch, or Littleton are very safe and nice areas.

Lower downtown - just west of the 16th Street Mall, in and around Coors Field. Lots of condos and apartments in the area, and easy walks to street fests, bars, restaurants, etc.

I think Ismile wants to rock your booty! HA ha ha ha. Did he just incriminate himself?

Live close to where you're going to work. If you don't know where that is yet I would wait until you knew to get a place. I think that lodo is lame, If you're into drunks, bums and crime then go for it. I like the foothills.
