Once a young woman starts having menstrual periods, she usually begins to develop a pattern after a few months. They begin to come regularly every 27 to 32 days. Things that stop a woman from having a period are low body fat and pregnancy. If a body does not have enough fat that it thinks it needs to survive, it does not kick into the need for reproducing, so periods stop. And sometimes a woman will have one period even after she becomes pregnant, but then they stop until the baby is born. If a woman breast feeds her baby, she often does not have a period. But if she doesn't want to have another baby right away, she should use birth control. We never know when periods will start again.
Some times periods can be late. That happens if the body comes under stress of some kind. It could be physical stress like traveling, or emotional stress like exam week, or a big date coming up or something like that.
Periods could also not be regular if there is a health problem. That is why, if your periods stop, you should see your health care provider.

All girls get a period once they hit puberty, unless they are barren. It can happen any time from age eleven on (I think the latest I've heard of it happening is fifteen). Why don't you talk to your mother about this?

all women should. if you don't get your period, you should see a gynecologist just to make sure everything is ok. some women always have irregular periods their whole life, and that's ok too. every woman is different.

No,
Pregnant woman do not, woman past menopause do not, woman who have had certain procedures like a hysterectomy don't. Certainly men don't.
You need to be more specific.
