Anybody who would suggest Rodney King was or is a great black philosopher knows nothing about Rodney King. This is why race relations are in the state they are today - the veneration of criminals and criminal behavior.

That is why it is good to see that rappers like Chamillionaire are going to take profanity and the N-word out of their lyrics.

Actually, that was a statement by Rodney King, not someone I would call a great philosopher, whether black or white.
