America's Player is one of the new twists this season on Big Brother. Eric, the 27-year old New Yorker, was randomly picked as this the first ever America's Player. Each week Eric is given three tasks to complete. The tasks can be anything from getting someone nominated, to vandalizing someone's property, to starting a new catch phrase. Each time Eric completes five tasks, he wins $10,000.

One of the players has contact with the viewers through text/cbs.com. Basically he does the bidding of the viewers from tasks, to who should be nominated and voted out. For every 5 that he accomplishes he wins $10,000. It's one of the twists in the game. He never speaks to anyone but Julie Chen. He can not vote how he wants, America's vote is his vote.

His name is Eric. He is the one who is being controlled by the American viewing public, in which he is given assignments stating whom he should get nominated for eviction (Sunday's show), whom to pull a prank on (Tuesday) and whom he should vote to get evicted (Thursday.)
