I already follow all the intructions on both computers to network, but it doesn't work. I just want to be able to share printers. I also tried all the computer wizard setup for sharing printer, but doesn't work. HELP PLEASE!

1. Make sure both computers have a unique name, but a matching workgroup name.

Do this by right-clicking "My Computer" , clicking properties, and clicking on the "Computer Name" tab. This requires a reboot.

2. Disable any/all firewalls for now. This will prevent them from interfering with the home networking. You can turn them back on once all is working.

3. Share the printers. Go to the computer that's physically connected to the printer, click on "Start" "Printer and Faxes", right-click the printer you'd like to share, and click on "Sharing". In the window that opens, you have to select to share it and give it a name.

4. Go to the other computer, and browser the print server. For instance, if the computer with the printers is called "Abbott", and the other computer is called "Costello", go to Costello, click on "Start" "Run", and type in \\Abbott (that's 2 backslashed, followed by the computer's name, no spaces), and hit OK. This should bring up that computer and show you any printer's you've shared.

5. To install and use a printer, just double-click it and it's ready to roll.

Note: You can share folders the same way.

Cheers

If these two computers are in the same building then connect them both into the same router and keep the dial up connection and you should be able to share that printer.
