i never understood that either. in the guns n roses song "civil war" at the end, they say "whats so civil about war anyway". great song. i wish i could give a better answer. but thats just one of those questions that you really cant. no one knows the answer. and they all question it.

I guess it is the same reasoning that called two of our major conflicts World War 1 & 2 . They didn't involve the world. How about the Miss Universe contest. I can't explain that either.
