This is my third cycle to chart. My first cycle and this cycle seem to be slowing climbing up in temperature, 1 degree each day from day 12 to now. I am on day 14 now. My second cycle just shot up in temperature so I could definately see the shift after ovulation. Has anyone every had this happen and how do I tell for sure when I have already ovulated. I also started Clomid this cycle because I have a short luteal phase. I took it day 5-9. So this cycle on day 11 my temp was the lowest it has been this cycle and then day 12, 13 and today it has risen each day by 1 degree. So should I assume I ovulated around day 12 or could it not have happened yet. I am so confused. Thanks for your help. P.S. We have had intercourse every other day since day 9 to be sure but just wanted to know.

I am sorry I meant on 1tenth of a degree. Like 97.6 to 97.6 to 97.7. But over the weekend it has went down a little and is constant for the last 2 mornings at 97.5.

I need you to clarify something, you say your temp is rising slowly, 1 degree each day, is this correct? If so, this is NOT a slow rise, 1 full degree is a pretty dramatic increase in temp. Say your Pre-O temp was 97.0 then the next day it rose 1 degree making it 98.0? Or are you saying your temp rises 0.1 degree each day..Pre-O temp of 97.0 rises to 97.1?

Sorry, sounds like you haven't O'd yet then. But typically when your temp only rises a tenth of a degree you haven't O'd yet. I think a jump of about .4 degrees is pretty indicative of O.

get the book "taking charge of your fertility" it talks about all different kinds of temperature risings....esp if yours is going up .1 degrees at a time...which is one of her examples. If i remember right you would could day 12 as O day.

This site has a lot of great info on temping:
http://www.webwomb.com/basal_body_temp.htm

There is also fertilityfriend.com and cyclespage.com to help you track your cycles - which can help pinpoint and predict when ovulation will occur.

Hope that helps and good luck!!!
