Iraq will pay just as much of our veterans benefits as the japanese and germans did for our WW II veterans. Come on be realistic. These troops served in the US military not the Iraqi military. How much did you worry about this when we were in Haiti, Granada, Vietnam, Korea? Can you think of any other lame pretense to try to undermine the morale of the military? Perhaps we should just do away with all veterans benifits regardless of what conflict you served in. Why would you care, it wouldnt impact you, you never had the guts and conviction to step up and serve your country or you wouldnt spout such hogwash!

Your remark about hiding behind our uniforms. Funny, I thought it was you hiding behind of the uniforms of all of the servicemen who have fought to protect your right to free speech. So you need to ammend your remark to "I keep hiding behind your uniform sir."

The cost of this will be seen for generations. The veterns deserve the best care we can offer. Though I doubt they will receive it from what I've seen. I also don't have a viable solution. I just see the problem.

why should iraq pay for it america started the war, iraq never asked for it, will the U.S pay for the medical treatment of the thousands of iraqi civilians who have been maimed due to the U.S action over there?? if you start a war you should have a plan beforehand that puts money aside to pay for the healthcare of your troops

Hopefully neither. We should put an end to socialist VA health care.

Veterans are citizens. They can get a J O B to pay for their own healthcare. They aren't in the military anymore.
