If thats the case as much as I want Bonds to get the record. Let them focus so much on Bonds they ignore our other players and we will win!!

TO OrngNBlck4Evr: its not that maddux doesnt want to give the homer up to him. He doesnt want to give up any homer to anyone. He was misquoted IF you were a gianst fan you would unbderstand that it happens a lot.

They could care less about the record, but maybe their fans distract them with empty boos and insults towards Barry Bonds. It's extremely irritating to some fans and also to the players because it's childish.
They're professionals and can perform at work just as good as anyone else. If they focus solely on Barry, they'll definitely lose because one person does not make a team. You're right about that point!

All the pitchers in the major leagues REALLY don't want to give up the BIG 755 AND 756!!Greg Maddux said he wouldn't bother pitching to him,just walk him.Nobody wants to give it up!So the answer would be yes!I want Bonds to own and just hit it already.BUT...As just like being a Giants fan,you have to be patient and wait for him to hit it I guess.I really just want the Giants to win,THEY ARE IN LAST PLACE!Vizquel,Winn,Feliz,and many other players on our team are pretty good at hitting the ball...Just sometimes they don't do it when it is REALLY needed...I'M A DIEHARD GIANTS FAN!!!!I should know all the suffering we go through...

the giants have won 1 game in a row..I'm guessing the other players are showing up for work each day to win, not to feed the 2 headed freak at the circus.
The giants have one of the 4th or 5th worst records in MLB. They are in last place in their division. Bonds is doing you no favors.
As a braves fan, I am thankful for many things. the biggest being that we do not have bonds.

I can assure you that every team is making decisions based on winning the game and not what Bonds may or may not do. Winning comes first and Bonds is far down on the list of concerns.

i dont think so. sure they dont want to be known as the guy who gave up 755 and 756 but i dont think theyre losing focus on winning.
