I have bloody discharge, but no period! What is it? What does it mean?

If you're just starting to menstruate, you will have this happen for several months, even up to 2 years after your first period.

Your body is still adjusting to the introduction of new hormones to make you ovulate and have a period.

It's perfectly normal, you will spot before you have a period. Don't worry, sometimes you won't have a period, but you'll spot like this.

In a few months time, it should regulate itself and you'll get the old PMS and then the inevitable visit from aunt Flo every month, like us old timers do.

A bloody discharge IS your period.

Your period is caused by a drop in hormones. My guess is that your hormones may have dropped, causing you to spot.

Going on the pill usually helps stop this.

ur period might be coming sounds like ur spotting if it continues go to a gyno

go to the E.R u may have internal bleeding
