It also depends on what browser you're using.

If you're using firefox, Microsoft's download servers throw a hissy, so either use Internet Explorer or get a plugin for firefox (such as Windiz) to get it to work. If you're using Netscape then it shoudl ato-switch and should work- thoguh use IE jsut incase anyway.

You also require the latest MSEXEC version thingy (version 3).

need more information.

Do you have a illegal copy of windows. this will stop updates installing.

If you have viruses and spyware you will also lose access to updates
