According to the 1994 Accord Owner's Manual, the valve clearance should be inspected and adjusted as necessary every 15,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. The valve adjustment on that car is the most critical adjustment in terms of engine performance and fuel economy. The valves need to be adjusted twice, first when warm then after the engine has cooled down.
the valve adjustment takes about 1 hour to do and you'll need a new valve cover gasket when you do it. Honda dealers typically charge about $120 for the adjustment alone or more often include it the a major service (tune up) that is done every 30,000 that usually runs about $300.

hope that answers your question

Get it done at dealer, unless you want to learn how to do it. The process is pretty easy, just take the valve cover off (takes about 30 minute), take the spark plugs out (optional) and rotate the crank to proper position and measure the valve gap using a gauge. It takes some experience to be able to FEEL valve gap with the gauge. If you do it too tight, then you end up burning the valve and would require a valve replacement (ouch!!!) And it is too loose, then your valve will make ticking noise. Unless you have years of experience adjusting valve, and know how the valve gap would feel after sliding the right size gauge, you should leave this job to the experienced mechanic.

you can go to the dealer in the parts dept and ask(it's free and they're familiar with your engine) plus they can offer some pointers of free advice for that and anything else
or check the local library in the reference dept for the repair manual.
most times I've heard @ 35-60,000 miles, but, I'd ask someone that knows first(CALL OR GO SEE THE PARTS GUY AT THE DEALER)
