Although I would not encourage anyone go to a strip club, I can provide you some insight to it.
First of all, let me inform you that strip clubs are illegal in Taiwan.
The following is the article 231:
刑法第231條
意圖使男女與他人為性交或猥褻之行為,而引誘、容留或媒介以營利者,
處五年以下有期徒刑,得併科十萬元以下罰金。以詐術犯之者,亦同。
In the old days (even now), strip clubs is called "beef market" 牛肉場 as well. They are hidden within the movie theaters. Now the strip clubs are hidden within some pubs and bars. Usually they can be setup as "invite only" for your party.

1) Taiwanese are extremely friendly towards foreigners in general. Maybe slightly less-so with college age people, but still more friendly than most countries. 2) Don't know, I'm not a clubber. 3) The best area for expensive shopping is Xinyi (near Taipei 101) and actually within the Taipei 101 mall. Other great shopping areas are Ximen and any of the man night markets. 4) Don't really know of do's and don'ts. Don't be too aggressive here. When I first got here I realized I was boorish in comparison to the Taiwanese just for walking quickly and being annoyed with people's lack of consideration for personal space. Just go with the flow, and everything will be cool. It's a very easy place to fit in.

Absolutely. It's around "Chung Hsiao East Rd忠孝東路" Sometimes you can see the sign says "Xhong Xiao East Rd", don't worry, it's the same road. I recommand you memorize some of the road you want to go in Chinese, it's a little bit hard, but then you don't have problem with "Chung Hsiao East Rd忠孝東路" and "Xhong Xiao East Rd忠孝東路".
