What I mean is, is it really bad for your body? I really want another baby and I want them close together. I want to have a girl. I had a boy in May.

I had a vaginal birth with my son. I am not on Welfare. I am very hardworking women. Every since I was 15 to be exact. So however brought up Wel-fare is an idiot for even thinking that. I only said I wanted a girl. And to the poster about having a baby after the next. No I'm not. If I have another boy, I think I'll let that be.

Women have had babies that close together, but with complications like miscarriage or developing other issues. Its best to wait a to let your body heal, giving birth is very taxing on your body. You need time to heal and get yourself healthy, which makes for a better pregnancy and healthy child. Congrats on the birth of your son!

If a woman continues to become pregnant and has children one-after-another, your body will lose precious vitamins and your bones will become brittle later in life, and you can possibly have an immune deficiency.
Think about it.. most of the vitamins you take into your body while pregnant get passed along to your baby instead of yourself.. so if you got pregnant 3 or 4 times in a row you might get sicker faster.. or later on in life you could do something simple like trip and fall and break your leg or arm or something.
I'm not saying it would FOR SURE happen that way, but I dont think its a healthy thing to keep having kids one after another. You should at least take 8-12 months between each child to get your body prepared and ready to give birth again.
Plus if youve had a C-section you should probably take even longer between children to heal yourself up
And if youre already on welfare or any kind of assistance, I suggest getting on birth control. Because no one is more hated than a mother who lives off of the government, popping out babies left and right - just for the benefits.

As the posters above stated, it is really unhealthy to have children that close together. Pregnancy and child-birth are traumatic to your body! Give it the time it needs to recuperate.
But I really have to say this: whether you have a boy or a girl is completely up to chance. Will you continue having one after another just to get the gender you want? And what of the ones that aren't what you hoped for? Think about it.

For the health of your next baby you should wait at least 18 months after the birth of your son to get pregnant again. "Infants born to women with an interval shorter than six months after their last birth had a 40 percent increased risk of preterm birth, a 61 percent increased risk of low birth weight (LBW) and a 26 percent increased risk of small for gestational age (SGA), "-- http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/41863.php

Sometimes you can run into more complications than usual as your body hasn't healed to prepare for another bgaby.
A friend of mine had a miscarriage, and another had a major problem with her placenta (can't remember the details though) and they each were pregnant within 3 months of giving birth.

i think if i remember right that you are supposed to or you should wait at least a year so that your body heals and gets healthy again.
if you continue to take your prenatal vitamens you will become healthy faster.
but if it happens before a year it wont kill you....
hopefully.
its just noty healthy for you or the baby. the first one took all your nutrients so how can you give your second baby the one it will need?
again it is possible youwill need to take better care of yourself and the baby. eat right and take your vitamens
