Are you glad that Whoopi Goldberg is the newest co-host on the ABC show?

Rosie O' Donnell was scheduled to leave already; ABC did not want to renew her contract. She was ignorant and uninformed on most of her points anyway so good thing! She couldn't fight with Elizabeth Hasselbeck because she was an idiot and made stupid comments and got them shoved back into her face and fell short of explanation for Elisabeth which I am happy she did. So she left early hearing no complaints from her co hosts or ABC. Whoopi Goldberg should be fun though!

There are probably many reasons why Rosie left the show. She is so outspoken and committed to so many issues that she probably felt she would make more enemies as the days went on. Most of those enemies would come from people who wanted to see her go and provoke them. Having said that, I feel she was not having a good time and had other things on her mind. She said she doesn't need the money, that her family was extremely important to her and that she would be fine in her career...I like Rosie, she does wonderful things for people that need help, and there she shines. She does not need or want any platitudes for her charity stuff. And, she does not need the stress of Elisabeth and her point of view. She respected it, but Elisabeth did not research like Rosie did and it must have gotten frustrating more and more each day. Rosie never said she did not support the troops, and Elisabeth just could not see it. Why try to justify it over and over again to no avail....She will be happier now. Whoppi will do just fine...she will even give Elisabeth a run or her money. I have seen her cut EH off at the pass and rightly so..they don't have to over talk like they do...

Never watched the show and still not interested.
From what I've seen of Rosie how did she get on TV and why would anyone want to watch her?
