Talk to your doctor, but headaches are pretty normal. As your baby grows, your blood pressure will grow as well. As your blood pressure rises, it's easier to have headaches.
Talk to your doctor though just to be sure.

I am 14 weeks and have had the WORST migraine going on for almost 4 weeks now. It gets to the point where all I can do is lay in the bathroom throwing up from it. (Odd, pregnancy doesn't make me sick, but migraine does) I called my doctor and she called me in a perscription for lortab--which do NOT help with a headache. When this didn't work, I asked the nurse at my next appointment about it, and she said "it's normal, deal with it." Tylenol works wonders for some people, but I have been getting migraines since I was about 6 years old, so I built up a tolerance for tylenol about 13 years ago. Try taking tylenol, if this doesn't help, maybe your doctor will perscribe you something--chances are it will be lortab, I believe that's one of the only narcotic pain relievers that doesn't pass through the placenta (if that's the case, I hope you have better luck than I did.)

Many women experience headaches during pregnancy particularly in their first and second trimesters. These headaches can be short or lingering, pounding or throbbing, sudden or expected. Regardless of the type, rarely does a pregnancy headache signal a complication with the pregnancy. However, severe headaches during the third trimester – particularly if they are so painful that they cause blurred vision – should be reported to your doctor immediately.
Treating headaches during pregnancy can be tricky as most pregnant women will want to avoid taking pain relieving medications, but there are ways to relieve the pain without turning to medication. If you are experiencing headaches in pregnancy, discuss this symptom with your doctor and then prepare to tackle the cause of your headaches at their roots.
Make sure you get enough rest, get up slowly, eat whole foods and drink plenty of water. Best of luck.

that is so wierd but i was the exact same way even earlier than you and one day it lasted about 3 days. light hurt my eyes, talking hurt my eyes and head and even listening hurt my eyes and head.
finally after about 1 in a half weeks of sufering i had to send my husband out to get tylenol.
this is the only pain medication you can take while pregnant.
it did wonders. 2 a day and i was better in 3 days maybe 4days. and never came back
i am 23 weeks pregnant and i think since then i have gotten one more very slight headache but not as close to the ones i had before.
i asked the doctor about them at my 20th week appointment and she said it is due to the pressure inside of you and also the organs and everything inside of you that starts getting smashed or moved to the side of your body.
they will go away
GOOD LUCK
i would try some tylenol.

I had the exact same problem, I got them almost daily. I talked with my Doctor about it and she said it was due to hormones and that it should get better the further along you get. She prescribed me Midrin and it helped alot!! Once I hit the 20 week mark, they subsided and I may get one about every 2 weeks. She said that if the Midrin didn't work, that she could prescribe me Tylenol with codine, but luckily i didn't have to go there. Also, if you want to try to take Tylenol, take it with a little bit of coke. That is what I did before I saw the doctor and it helped a bit. The Nurse said it was okay to drink a can of coke a day. It will get better, just hang in there for a few more weeks.

Just blame it on the hormones! I'm in the same boat as you are. I started having headaches nearly everyday when I was 13 weeks, and now I'm 23 weeks and still having them. Drink more water and try to lay down when they hit. You can also take tylenol if that works for you....it doesn't for me, so I just have to deal with them. You can always bring it up to your doctor next time you go, and see if they have any different solutions. Good luck & hope you don't have to deal with them till the end!

its all to blame on horomones. everyone is different but I know that headaches are a normal part of pregnancy. i had quite a few bad ones. unfortunately tylenol was the only thing my doctor said i could take, which helped take the edge off. see if taking tylenol would be ok with your doctor. as pregnancy progresses they usually go away. hope you feel better soon.

It could be hormone related or it could be high blood pressure. Monitor your BP, but do mention it to your OB/GYN.
