The thing is, most of these girls, and by most I mean the VAST MAJORITY, were given this information in school. It doesn't matter what they were taught. When a guy wants to have sex with her, they get so damned flattered that they ignore what they've already heard and concentrate on what they WANT to hear. I thought everyone knew that Saran wrap and Coke douches and withdrawal don't work, but wouldn't you know yesterday there was some stupid guy here asking if his girlfriend could be pregnant if he was only in a little while and had wrapped it Saran Wrap first because they didn't have a condom. Sheesh. I suppose interrupting their session to go out and buy a condom was out of the question.
And the girls who come here to split hairs and look for loopholes to see how far they can push the envelope with unprotected sex just slay me. They're not mature enough to baby-sit, let alone have sex.
It's as if being taken advantage of sexually and risking your health physically is seen as some kind of privilege now.

I think a lot of these girls/women are in denial to some degree and are trying to ascertain whether they're pregnant by popular opinion rather than going out and getting a pregnancy test, where someone might SEE them. Plus I think they may think that they're invincible; after all, how often do you see the class slut get knocked up?
When I was a teenager I read a line about buying condoms or going to a clinic is far less embarrassing than being pregnant when you're too young. Makes sense to me.

I agree that alot of it has to do with ignorance when it comes to sex. However, they don't teach sex ed in schools...not here anyway. And teaching abstinance to teenagers does very little good when it comes to raging hormones.
However, I think some of them asking the questions have true concerns. Maybe they know that they could be pregnant and just want opinions from others. It's always nice to have someone relate to what you're going through...or to get advice from people who have already been there.
Those questions bother me too...but I just ignore and skip to another.

No, they dont teach you this stuff in school anymore. They teach abstinence only...the most misgueded sex ed approach ever. Some women, however, are wanting others opinions. When my birth control (which I knew wasnt 100%) stared going all wonky on me, and I dont have a trusted doctor readily available, I wanted other peoples opinions and experiences. Some times its nice to hear people say something reassuring.

Believe me I totally agree with you. There are so many dumb little girls out there now that just don't respect their selves and they haven't a clue about life!! It makes me so sad to see some of these questions and you can tell by the tone and the way they write that most of them are so young. I wish there was some way to teach them. But I have a 15 year old little sister and I have tried to teach her from the time she was like 11 to respect her self and wait but she doesn't listen!

I find the "Am I or Could I be pregnant" questions the most annoying questions. If your stupid enough not to use protection or birth control, go buy a pregnancy test.

She in all probability did no longer mean it in a bad way in any respect. in certainty, i think of while human beings communicate approximately how massive you have gotten it somewhat is to renowned the certainty which you're pregnant. in case you have been somewhat skinny earlier getting pregnant then seeing you with a baby abdomen is in all probability a shocker. additionally, women human beings who've considered a good number of pregnant women human beings, or been pregnant themselves opt for to contemplate themselves some guru based on how massive you're getting based on the size you're. Take it with a grain of salt, and while human beings say that basically smile and point out the style you're extra advantageous than chuffed that your infant is transforming into frequently.

What are you gonna do right? THats the reason they put yahoo answers, so people can ask ?s even if they are stupid.
School teaches about birth control, and sex, but people decide to do it, personally i dont care, if you dont like the ?, or see what it's about then go to another one.
Maybe you can do something about this......

Because those questions probably come from young girls/teens.....and if they're having those types of problems than I'm sure no one in their lives have taken the time to even teach them the basics.
Btw what the hell is your Avatar supposed to be???

I don't think so much that ALL of us who have questions on here are trying to see if it's POSSIBLE. Of COURSE it's possible, we want to know if what we are feeling is normal, or pregnancy, because, like me, we have never been PREGNANT BEFORE! So, please, before you group ALL of us into this "ignorant" group, try to understand that we want opinion, not some website that we READ about things that were posted mid '60's!
