My last period was July 14 had sex with husband on 25 and 30 during fertile days. Next period due Aug 10. I have a normal 28 cycle. My ? is how do you know when a fertile egg is enbedding? What are the signs? If any.

2 days ago I had thick mucus that was sticky and a slight yellow.

With my other 3 kids I never had implanting bleeding so I have no idea when it occurs. The only thing I had was a missed period.

Implantation happens 6-12 days past ovulation. So, if you O'd on July 27th then you would expect for implantation to happen sometime between Aug3-9. That is assumming you ovulated on CD14 and that the egg was fertilized. Here are some possible symptoms of implantation-- Implantation cramps: small cramps inside the uterus
Implantation spotting or bleeding: Short brief spotting (a couple of drops of light or dark blood)
A second temperature shift on the temperature curve
A temperature dip at about seven to ten days after ovulation

well there really is no way of knowing for sure until you miss your period some women have implantation bleeding and cramping but that still is not a sure way to know the wait for the period and taking a test is the only way good luck
