me too, but there are web based messengers which merges all your IM accounts (if u have more than 1) so you can see them all in one window.

i use yahoo messenger, aim, and msn...and out of all of them i use yahoo messenger the most.

i prefer AIM because there are lots of cool features and all of my friends have it . i've never used yahoo but i also have gmail. the only thing about gmail you can't sign in to just chat without being signed in to read email.
on AIM you can video chat, talk, send pictures/files, change your profile picture, have a profile...it's really good.

That's what I use. I use yahoo messenger alot. It's alot easy and fun to use. Plus you can find alot of people who use it.

I use Pidgin, which is what Gaim became after AIM sued them. It's a smaller, open-source version of AIM.
