OK i need some advice but i'm not EXACLTY sure what the problem is...

I've been rly worried and paranpoid about my friendships with one of my bestest friend recently. I didn;t know what was wrong until the other day when I managed to identify wot the reasons for me feeling this way were. They are:

1. I envy him. He's more popular than me. He's god at sport, I'm not. He's better than me academically.

2. I don't think he considers me as good a friend as I consider him.

Now i feel a hell of a lot better now that I know what the problem IS...but the problem still exists. How can i fix it??

Just talk to him about it. you can't hate him just because he's better at something than you are. sports are supposed to be fun, not a competition. find what you're good at and let your light shine.
as far as popularity goes, most of those friends won't even remember him in a year or two. if you've had friends for a while, remember that they chose you to be friends with, not him. if he doesn't think you're a good friend, then sorry, but tell him that if that's the way he feels than you would rather not be friends with him. friends will come and go.
If you're doing alright in school, you should be happy. if you think you could do better, study harder or ask him to help you study.

Ok look, I think u need to chill out. Take a deep breath. Calm down. Ok, my advice to u would be to talk to ur friend. If he says that u r not his best friend, I think u should dump him fast. But try to figure it out by talking. As for the sports and academics, u should NEVER EVER EVER compare urself to ANYONE. It reduces ur self-confidence. So just sit and talk things out. If it makes u feel better, ask him to tutor u. Good luck. Whatever u do, I hope its the right thing.

The first one is something you'll just have to live with, the second one however is one something you should talk to him about. Friendship is a two-way street and if it is only going one way that isn't good.
